So how difficult is it to get gold in factions? - Guild Wars Forums

I heard that farming in factions was near impossible since the monsters are very balanced...is there any truth to this?

No need to farm - getting gold in Factions is easy just by playing the game normally. Already made 100k+ just by salvaging and selling materials/drops to the trader or amber to people in a rush for the new armour and still have a few rare drops to sell on - although how rare remains to be seen as gold perfect/near perfect items seem to fall like rain.

Depends on how you farm. As far as 55ing it, it's probably a bit harder. But there are farming builds that work against balanced foes. And there are also farming builds tailored to avoid certain foes and attack others. Ask Racthoh aka Mr. Frenzy Farmer. If there's a will, theres a way...

It's immensely easy, I've never had an easier time farming, even in proph. Proph can't even compare in fractions IMO

I can easily make 500k/hour. That will go down once the prices go back to normal but even when that happens I'm still looking at 200k-300k/hour.

This was just a response though... Don't expect to get me to tell you where to farm :P Nobody but me knows, cause the town is empty all the time.

i can easily find gold or even greens in factions (mainly gold tho) cause it is everywhere u go, if u see a monster in lets say 'bazzar' then kill it and there probably be a gold. it is everywhere once u go out and kill the first person then drops a gold (happen to me 3 times =) ) best place to make money i think

Back the bs train up a bit. 300k an hour, don't tell me you're selling mini-pets as a full time farming substitute. I highly doubt you can get that much unless you farm greens and sell them for abnormal prices, which is robbery and once the prices go down, you will not be seeing 300k+ an hour.
